Destroyed my soul because of longing for your laws at all times (Psalm 119:20)
Year Bible Reading:
Exodus 13-15
Jonathan Edwards noted how she face the Book, view the Bible: "In myself I grew up a huge joy of the Bible, more than any book. Often when reading it, every word seemed to touch my heart. I felt a harmony between something in my heart with the words beautiful and strong from the Bible. I often like to see so much light is emitted by every sentence, such as enjoying the delicious food that was served, so I stopped reading my resume. Often I get one sentence long pondered the Bible, to see the magic in it, but almost every sentence seemed to be full of wonder. "
Psalm 119 is also filled with a passionate love of the author in the face the Book. Note the choice of words: "On the instructions of your warnings I rejoice, as on all his ... Your word I will not forget ... Destroyed my soul because of longing for your laws at all times ... I meditate on it all day ... it all joy my heart ... Thy commandments more than gold, even than the old gold ... I keep thy warnings, and I am so loved. (verse 14,16,20,97,111,127,167).
Reflecting on the psalmist and Edwards, we find our spirituality pale, staggered spiritual discipline, a parched and longing. Let's ask God to fill us with love revelations himself, longing and joy to face the Book every day ..

Read: Psalm 121
He will not let your foot falter, your guardian will not sleep (Psalm 121:3)
Year Bible Reading:
Jeremiah 40-42
The story happens in Cirebon. One night, a group of men stole heavy equipment type hydraulic excavators parked at the location of mining land. The device weighs be - welding-an ton. To move it, the thief had to wear special trucks transporting heavy equipment. The process is certainly long enough and cause noise. Surprisingly, none of the security guards who guard the location know. Why does? Because of me - they were all too deep!
A guard who likes to fall asleep can not guarantee security. Gang - guan could come anytime. So, pen - good guard should keep alert. Once there is a disturbance, he needed to act. The psalmist takes guard as ma-cam that. When a pilgrimage to Jerusalem, he must pass through the treacherous mountains that surrounded the rock (verse 1). From behind the rocks, robbers or wild animals can appear at any time. Who guards the most capable of ensuring security? God! He was the guard who never slept (verses 3-4). And, he was not only able to keep from accidents (verse 7). Extreme desert weather can also be set-up to his friends, because he is the master of the universe (paragraph 2.6).
This psalm expresses the psalmist's faith and sense of security to guard the Lord. Because of the belief that God takes care of, she can waltz merrily on the road full of danger though. Are you sure, that God was guarding and out of your (verse 8)? Ba - danger and the threat is always there. However, if you invoke God into the Guard, you are safe. Therefore, God must be willing to maintain and He never "cheated". He will not never sleep!

Baca: Mazmur 121
Bacaan Alkitab Setahun:
Yeremia 40-42

ran out of prayer - EN
Read: Philippians 4:6-9
Do not be worried about anything, but in everything to God in prayer and supplication with thanksgiving (Philippians 4:6)
Year Bible Reading:
Ezekiel 33-35
Prayer is the breath of life Christians. "I agree with this statement, but at the same time feeling guilty about it. Breathing refers to activities that continually, and without it we die. So how about my prayer life? Never mind constantly, often there are days that I miss without praying. I'm bored and feel "running out of material." Apparently, there is something wrong with my prayer life. Or, maybe there is something wrong with the concept of my prayer.
Paul's Letter to the Philippians offers answers. In chapter 4, Paul describes "resource inventory" Christ is sufficient for our service. Christ establish peace as a deterrent tendency to worry (verses 6-7). When read, the word "everything" speaks powerfully to me. Desires-even fears-not the other material is prayer. In any case, we can express to God, without having to run to the prayer room first. How selfish desires? When declare to God, we humble ourselves and let him fix and steer. What about fears?
When we give, He will take it and give us peace in return (verse 7). Well, if this happens, I'll never run out of prayers: every day I have a myriad of desires and fears!
You may, like me, struggle in the life of prayer. Express your desires and concerns as a prayer to God. You would not be running out of prayer.
Pray is confide TO FATHER AND BEST pal

KEHABISAN BAHAN DOA - ID
Baca: Filipi 4:6-9

A similar situation seems to occur also in court facing Jesus. His enemies seek clarification whether Jesus was the Messiah, the promised Savior God (v. 67a). However, this is not a question that arises from a genuine curiosity, but an attempt to find fault so they could accuse Jesus commit crimes (v. 67b). Ironic! Right speech instead be understood as a long-awaited statement to condemn Jesus (verse 70). Was Jesus aware of the motivation behind their questions? Very idea! (verses 67-68). And, he still stated the truth, even though he knew the risks of his.
Until now, there are still many people harden their hearts against and convict Jesus. We may encounter difficult situations as well as our status as a follower of Jesus. People looking for mistakes and use our testimony as a weapon to attack. Each of us suffer as a result of our ministry and witness of Jesus, remember that he had first to bear. Keep stating the truth with wisdom. When Jesus comes back later, we will face Him in repentance

This psalm replied: No, that's what should be expected every believer! Like the psalmist longing bubbling, meat filling, soul, and heart to be close to God (verses 2-5). Most likely this psalm sung of Israel on a pilgrimage to the Temple in Jerusalem. The desire for intimacy with God encouraging them start the long journey (verses 6-7). The longer, the closer and stronger (verse 8). Encounter with God is much more valuable than other things (v. 11).
Is not our life in the world is also a pilgrimage to seek and find the greatest joy in the Lord? Is there a God encounter with a hope that inflame our hearts? Let rise of spiritual shallowness towards the true and full communion with God. Bring any updates you desire happen in a personal relationship with God in the new year to him .

Dapatkah Yesus benar-benar
menyentuh kesepian hati saya?
